I loved our breakfast, going to chapel, lunch with friends, afternoon coffee, reading in the sun while you went to class (thanks, Jansen for not filing a missing mother report ;)!! ), then dinner and fun on the farm! Just keep doing the next thing and you'll finish this year strong!

What do you do when you are moving out of a single family home into a cozy urban apartment? 

You thank God more than once for FAMILY!! 

Family that makes room to store furniture and boxes for you. Family that helps shuttle boxes between the moving truck and the basement. Family that feeds you. Family that encourages you. Family that supports and cheers you along the way. Love seeing these brothers work side by side!!

Oh, Oklahoma~ what wonderful blessings you held for our family! I'm going to miss your glorious sky, giant statues, trips to QT, Hideaway Pizza...just to name a few pleasant surprises. Most of all though, I already miss your people!! Abundantly grateful for all the dear friends God graciously gave us here! As our three years in Bixby come to an end today, I keep thinking about how it was the great unknown, how God was already here, preparing a place for us and us for this place. I'm definitely leaving a big piece of my heart in Tulsa!! But now, because we know that the Lord our God goes with us wherever we go, I can look forward to what He has in store for us in Virginia!

It's Reunion Day in Annapolis!!!

There are parts about moving that are challenging, but this day was not one of them! 

What an absolute JOY to get to reconnect with Dear Friends today!!

Abundantly grateful for these precious souls who have prayed with us, laughed with us, cried with us, challenged us, and loved us across three states for over a dozen years!!

With our housing decision made, we were glad for a day to enjoy the sunshine and this beautiful view!! 

So fortunate to have a personal chauffeur to navigate the streets of DC while I gaze at all the monuments!!

What a day filled to the brim with blessings...and lots of emotions!

I can vividly remember walking into Asbury a little over three years ago for the Welcome for this BSF class. I was filled with eager anticipation to become a part of their group, yet knew not one person. Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and love for the many, many women and children the Lord gave me the privilege to know and to learn alongside in our class! Oh, how I will miss them!

Thanking God for a BSF morning with a dear Friend, time to pray together, and this sweet gift from her. 

And completely overwhelmed with gratitude by the news my favorite ballerina called to share!

We have indeed been surprised by great joy!

Love our cherry tree and how the blooms pleasantly surprise me each year!

Look how each flower is budding and growing at its own pace and each is beautiful it its own way. 

They are reminding me that God has His perfect time for everything. 

How sweet of Him to have them bloom a little earlier this year!
