My first thought today was how great my obstacles were.
I was completely paralyzed by them and couldn't see solutions.
Then God reminded me that my obstacles are opportunities to trust Him and see His provision.
One by one...His Word...phone calls...texts...rearranged schedules...understanding friends...
God answered prayer.
He took away the obstacles and cleared my path.
And then, He sent a smile and love through my dear Friend at the just right time!
Ending the day much more peaceful that I began it.
"The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine on you,

After the whirlwind, exciting, emotional, three state tour we've been on the past week, it was so good to arrive home just in time to join my sweet friends at our BSF Day of Prayer!!

Thanking God for this beautiful sunrise and Scott for planning a retreat before we return home.

So grateful for a full morning of orientation confirming this is a great place for our girl!
I loved our quiet afternoon together talking, laughing, and taking photos all over the beautiful campus.
After a lovely Service of Dedication and a fun, family pizza dinner, I swallowed that big lump in my throat because I knew the time had finally come.
Abundantly thankful for big hugs, smiles and the love these two share!!

Everywhere we turned, someone greeted us with a friendly smile eager to help.
*Efficient check-in lines
*Teams of athletes unloading the car and moving everything into her room in under a minute
*Lunch provided in the dining hall
*Sweet, welcoming RA who had answers for all our questions
*Super cool new roommate
*Freshman Family BBQ on the lawn
*Time to tour the beautiful campus
* And probably best of all...Parent Orientation is tomorrow so we get to come back!!

~Day One Loading Complete~
Our family has been thinking and talking about this week for months.
Sometimes it's been with great expectation and other times with dread.
In my momma mind there has been a perfect mix of excitement for the girls and sadness for me.
How can they really be old enough to head off on their own?
But God encouraged me greatly through this today!
Here's to being Strong and Courageous and remembering that our Lord is with us wherever we may go!!
