A Memory from 1998 on our Christmas Tree

Emma was 2...Bess only 9 months old

We had just moved out of our house in Cumming.

 We were spending December living in a hotel waiting for the move to Maryland.

I was a little bit grouchy...you might even say "Grinchy".

Dear friend, Elaine, said, "Put up a little tree in your hotel room."

Best friend, Tiena, gave me this ornament and said, "Stop pouting."

They both were right. I needed an attitude adjustment. 

The Residence Inn was much nicer than what Mary and Joseph had.

It was a Christmas we'll never forget.

This ornament has been bringing me smiles for thirteen years now!
