December 31

This year has been full of a whole lot of newness, with some sweet familiarity thrown in for good measure. Lots of opportunities to trust the Lord as we navigated the twists and turns of it...and as usual, I handled some of it with more grace than many other parts. How thankful I am for God's new mercies each morning!! As I look towards turning to the first page on a brand new calendar tomorrow, it's a comfort and joy to reflect on the goodness of the Lord. Great is His faithfulness!!

For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;

Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

So happy we all got to spend some time with these sweet, funny and incredibly cute little girls today!!

Grateful for my loving family who graciously trekked out in the pouring rain with me to see more city life. And I have to say that this afternoon adventure with my girl was definitely worth it!

We definitely made the most of our day sightseeing as we walked many short and long blocks!!

What a great restaurant Bess' friend chose for us! Thanks, Kayla for knowing we'd love a Broadway show tune singing wait staff and also for you and your mom meeting us for a fun lunch!!

What a sweet gift to get last minute tickets to see the Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular!!

Thankful for such a wonderful girls' night out with my favorites!!

It was a little more eventful than we would have liked making our way to the big city,

but seeing NYC all lit up for the holidays is a magical site to behold!!

Always thankful for time with the Kiersteads!!

I've loved hearing these three laugh together since 1999! Today it sure was fun listening as they shared stories about apartment life, chore charts, and navigating young adulthood!!
